Ipswich Adventist Gospel Choir

A Gospel Choir with a Difference

Who are we ...

We are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Ipswich we enjoy singing, and giving praise to God through music. Seventh-day Adventists are Christians who keep the Bible Sabbath (that’s the ‘Seventh-day’ bit in our name) and look forward to the second coming of Jesus (that’s the ‘Adventist’ bit).

What do we believe ...

Like other Christians, we believe in the Trinity and Christ’s two great commandments - to love God and also our neighbour. So while trying to lead God-centred lives, we also try to serve the community around us. Seventh-day Adventists operate medical and educational facilities around the world with particular emphasis on humanitarian aid work for people of all faiths or none.

Where and when do we meet ...

The Ipswich Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Rope Walk, is a vibrant, multi-cultural community which enjoys a diversity of worship styles. The church attracts many visitors and all are made welcome. In addition to worship services the church runs a variety of community programmes.  Our main worship services are held on Sabbath (Saturday) morning, with a Bible Study at 9.45am followed by a Family Worship time, usually running from 11.15am to 12.30pm. Visitors are always welcome!
